Can anyone recognize the type of tailpipes I have on my car. I just bought a 2011 XJL and the tailpipes ends look very different from anything I see in pictures.

I saw that. Somehow it looks very different on my car. Probably just the angle I'm looking at it from.

 

There have been two polished tailpipe finishers offered by Jaguar for the X351. The original (more angular shape with groove in top) was discontinued due to build quality issues (corrosion of cheap steel base) and replaced by a more rounded version as shown in the link.

Too bad the design changed as IMHO the originals were very special pieces - masculine and unique. The replacements, while nice, just don't have the same gravitas.
