Wink Need to read the entire manual.

Discovered tonight the little button on the door handle that locks the car with out using the fob.

I suppose I need to study that manual in detail someday.

Yep, there are 4 of them!

If all else fails, read the instructions.

If people actually read the manual, three quarters of the posts just wouldn't happen ...

... oh, but wait a minute, that means the remainder might actually be worth reading.

True but I was laughing at myself. I did read the manual but missed this feature. And the dealer missed it too in his little post buy lecture.

Maybe we should start a little sticky post with the odd missed features all of us might have missed.

I always use the buttons to lock the car and pull the handles to unlock and never take the fob out of my pocket. That way I can't lock it in the trunk.

+1 ... but the fob is a little big though.

Mae West: "Is that an XJ fob in your pocket ... or are you just happy to see me?"

Damn and I thought women were impressed just by the car. Thank you Jaguar for my very visible key fob.
