2011 XJSC SWB See pics. Has anyone else had this happen?


Car is garaged at home and work. Also, its never had any paint/body work, so this is factory paint. Identical issue on both rear door handles one pic is of passenger side, the other pic is driver side. I have trouble believing this a coincidence.


Does the sweet warranty cover paint problems?

 

Yes. I had my hood and left quarter panel repainted at the dealership because of something similar. Fight for it and it will get covered. Good luck.

 

From what I can see in the pictures, it looks like deep scratches not paint flaking off. Those are often caused by people wearing rings while opening the the door handles. Could that be the case?

 

Mine totally just broke apart today. Tried to remove to get repainted and broke off hinges. Does any have the part number for this door handle and the cover?
