It looks like Paramount Performance sat down and designed a proper intake - at least proper for those who like supercharger noises - that’s not made out of heat soaking metal but silicone. It’s for the FXR but these things are very close to the XJR.

I was able to speak with someone there and while they wouldn’t tell me it “fit the X351” when I said “I shouldn’t need to do more than trim some silicone…” he said “Although you are correct, it 'should' be modifications to the silicone only.” He then warned me I’d be voiding any and all warranty but that’s okay. I’ve been voiding warranties for 20 years.

It’s rather steep on price but I’m going to order one and see what it takes to fit a 2015 XJR. I’ve monitored summer and winter intake and charge cooler temps in my testing with the Mina “cold air” vs factory vs modified Mina with ram air tubes. So I’ve got data to compare.

We shall see how this goes but it might be a viable option for the guys looking to boost audible noises and maybe some power. I’m usually skeptical of CAI systems actually adding power - especially on a set up as well designed as the factory system on these supercharged 5.0’s.
