Default pinch weld jack pads

I came across this jack adapter for pinch welds that Harbor Freight sells for $14.99 each.

Have any of you used this jack pad pinch weld adapter?
There are cheaper ones on E-bay too, including magnetic metal ones like this, rubber ones and also pinch weld adapters for jack stands too.

Any suggestions ones that you have used?

With the Aluminum body I don't think the magnetic will do any good.
I got a set when I purchased my Bendpak lift but were a pain to use. Positioning them correctly and then they stuck to the car when I lowered the lift.
I hate to say it but I lift my XJ using a rubber pad on the pinch weld lifting points. No damage that I can see other than a bit to the rubber pad.

I have never used these in my life and have been wrenching for 35 years. I just use the rubber pad that are on my jack. Never ever had a problem. However, at the same time they aren't going to hurt anything so if you want to get them I say go for it!
