Angry Rear Window defrost

My new/used 2012 XJ shows an indicator light on the dash when I engage the rear window heater, but the defrost function doesn't seem to be working. On a foggy day, there was no indication of clearing of the rear window. Is it a fuse? If so, where in the fuse box (and which fuse box?) is the one for this function and what is it's amperage rating? Any help will be much appreciated....thx......

Although my rear sreen heater removes frost quickly, I have had a situation where the rear window was fogged on the inside and the rear heater did little to clear it. I had to wait for the car to warm up inside. Could this be the case in this instance?
