I have a 2012 Jaguar XJL Supersport with 42k miles. I love, love the car. I put in a custom subwoofer and dynamatted the whole car so it is extra quiet. Given the cost of a newer, similar sedan, I think I want to "upgrade" it to make it as new as possible again.
What are some things I could do?
Upgrade the shocks / air springs?
Brake upgrade?
After market AV system?
Paint correction, wrap, or repaint?
I am contemplating an ECU Tune from Alpha Jag Tuning as well.
Please let me know your recommendations.

What xalty said, including water pump. I'm curious if you have oil consumption, no one really talks about it here. I add a quart every 3500 miles or so, good compression and no blown head gasket (yet) and no leaks whatsoever. Guessing i have a trickle or some small tolerance allowing blow by but it's happened to two engines so far, so I think it's normal as per the XJ owners manual (I find it laughable that they have a comment on it, from a powertrain engineering perspective). If you pull the supercharger, do the rear coolant manifold as its difficult to access with supercharger in place (I'd say impossible, but others have done it).
Exhaust, supercharger pulley(s) and tune work wonders for power.
I did my timing chain and tensioner "update" while my replacement engine was going into my car so it cost me almost nothing. I changed my supercharger oil at 70k, I forgot to do the PCV valve R&R while I was in there.

No oil consumption that I know of. I know how to check the oil, but is there a warning light if it is too low? Originally Posted by dmchao

these don’t turn on the low oil warning always check your level once a month. when they come in low you get the 90 degree hose pick and pull on the timing chain through the oil fill hole. then you sell them a full chain job
