I suppose some idiot did try to remove the chrom trim above the window of the left rear door of my XJ while it was parked...
He did not succeed, but he could manage to bend it beyond repair, see picture, so I think I need to replace it.
Two questions:
a) I suppose it's simply glued like most of these trims, and light warming with a heat pistol plus the dental floss trick will enable to remove it, or is there a better method/are there clips?
b) Do you know the Jaguar reference I need to order? (car is a 2012 XJ).
I wonder if there are 2 different ones as the XJ and XJL are different length.
Yes, I saw there are other references for the XJL, and for some markets the chrome is replaced by other coatings/colors. This reference is for a SWB car with chrome finish.
