Default Replacement Battery - Recode?

This is an amazing battery that I purchased for another car (2011 X5m - it solved all the electrical issues). It had to be recoded for that car so it wouldn't burn out the alternator. Do you know if the Jaguar X351 will have to be recoded?

jschimmels, I did not recode my car with the new battery. There is a process that should be taken to help the ECU not overcharge the battery after starting, but this car seems to quickly learn that a new battery is in there and adjusts accordingly. I can't say I have heard of any alternator issues with the X351 cars. If there are, they are few and far between. Stick in the new battery and call it good.

Thanks for the information. I have not found anything otherwise.
