Battery not charging light on - RESOLVED
Just installed a new battery. Battery not charging warning light on. Any thought on this. Alternator? Battery monitoring module? Any way I can test if the alternator is charging? Any help appreciated. 2011 Jag XKR. Thanks

I suspect that the Battery Monitoring Module needs to be reset. Read Brutal's posts in this thread from the X351 (XJ) Forum. He's a very knowledgeable and helpful Jaguar technician. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...cement-219229/ The 5.0L X150 and XJ have similar systems.
Thanks but actually it turned out to be the white lead that attaches to the positive battery terminal. Looks like I broke it when I replaced the battery. Put a new spade connector and 'battery not charging' alarm went off!
