Replacement Wiper Blades for XJ Recommendations
I noticed my 2011 XJL wiper blades have a rather unique wiper blade to wiper arm mounting system. Car ID lists Motorcraft Premium Flat Wiper Blades ww2201pf (left) and ww1901pf as "direct replacements".
I am looking for recommendations for replacement blades that install easily. Rain-X-Latitude and Bosch Icon brands seem to have a good reputation; but will they install easily and look "OEM", or should I go with the Motorcraft (Ford) replacements?

I use Valeo ULTIMATE OE WIPER BLADES as they are the best that I have ever used on my cars and they are Jaguar OEM. I order them from TireRack. Just enter your make and model and the proper wipers can then be selected (19" and 23").
I think both Bosch and Rain-X are the best wiper blades. They are easy to install because they have easy installation systems. I am now using the Rain-X wipers, and they work well for me.
I'm afraid I have to vote down the Valeo blades, at least in my experience. They leave a streaky mess on my windscreen, which is especially bad at night. I'm about to order some Bosch or RainX.

It helps to wash your windshield occasionally with a microfiber cloth in hot water and liquid dish detergent, followed by a thorough rinse. Be sure to also gently wipe the blades. This will remove the oil film on the glass and the blades that causes your wipers to leave streaks on your windshield.
There are many glass cleaners on the market, but they all cost more than a couple of drops of dish detergent and water from your faucet. And they don't work any better.

I ended getting a set of Denso Beam type wiper blades. Fit as factory from Rock Auto around $30 for the pair.
This style wiper is by far the best set up I have ever had on a car. It just works great and I am still on the factory blades and mine is a 2014!

Switch the vehicle's ignition on and then off again. Immediately press the wash/wipe control to its lowest position, as if to command a single wipe. Hold this position while switching on the vehicle's ignition again. The wipers move to the service position.
I know it’s not important, but does anyone know for certain who the OE manufacturer of the wipers are? It seems like every manufacturer says something like “OE fit” or “OE design”...etc. The Denso ones look exactly like the ones currently on my car. But I’m not 100% certain the previous owner bought Jag ones. Anyone got a picture of ones they bought from the dealer? Thanks!
I believe that JLR uses Valeo as OEM as they use a lot of Valeo in the cars already like headlights, I've used Valeo on all my cars for years since finding this out and believe they not only clean the best but last the longest. At present, I buy the Valeo Ultimate from RockAuto.com ..

Is there anything about the design that suggests the OEM are Valeo instead of Bosch or Denso, who also make lots of parts for the car? Thanks
Several years ago I asked the guys in the parts department if they knew who make the OEM wipers and was told it's Valeo. Also,, over the years I've tried the other brands and none have wiped as well nor lasted as long. So I use them on the wife's Audi SQ5, Son's 2014 Mustang, and Daughter's 2016 Nissan Rogue. They last about a year before starting to streak.

All the best.
Jaguar wiper blade with Valeo name imprinted on the wiper strip.
I've never done this as it's easy to swap the blades when they're parked. But this is how to do it:
Switch the vehicle's ignition on and then off again. Immediately press the wash/wipe control to its lowest position, as if to command a single wipe. Hold this position while switching on the vehicle's ignition again. The wipers move to the service position.

Where did you find that info and is there by any chance a similar procedure for the X150(XK) (this one did not work on my XK)
