I have been a member of this forum for a few years quietly gaining insights from posts by others. I have so far only managed to put up a post on sun visor repair as a give back due to my little knowledge. Regardless I am keen on taking challenges in my little way. I had a blown headlamp bulb on my XJ 2015 but could not snoop on other’s experience with my type of car here as there was none but gained good insight from Youtube posts and I want to share my experience as a give back, ONLY as an inexperienced confident novice and not an AUTHORITY. Other pictures showing points of no return are below. I never sing my own praise but when the lights came up after I finished I felt like on top of the world. I gambled on the DMEX bulb as it later came out in my probe that the Osram bulb came with the car but I am ready to try it out for now and see how long it will last and with this experience the next change if I still have the car will be easier if bulb does not last as long as the Osram which has lasted almost 8years of my owning the car.
