Sports Pedal Cover SS
Greeting to all the people on this forum. I am the fresh owner of a x351 Black 3.0 D Jaguar, After having owned an x358 for 12 years.
I have some things to sort out, the car in used but with 56 k km on the clock and it's a model year 2011.
I have bought the peda stainless steel covers, i fitted the brake one. The gas pedal hasn't got the hole for the pedal fixing, should i have it or i need to drill it ?
I have also noticed the front headlight washers don't work when i press and wash the screeen, what could it be ?
Thanks

Welcome!
Yes you will need to drill the hole for the gas pedal. If you bought the OEM pedal kit it should come with paper instructions that tell you were to drill. If you don't have that then just template it on paper.
The headlamp washers only come on the first and subsequent 6 times the windscreen washers are used, when the dipped beam headlamps are on. Have you tested them like that?

This is my third Jag, S Type then XJ and now Another XJ.
I still have my Mercedes Cabrio....but i admit that F Type Cabrio and XK Cabrio (much more space than the F Type) are really good loking cars.
Thanks for the answer.
I have installed the pedals and they look and feel really great.
I cannot make the Headlight washers work....i have checked and i have the nozzles and the tubes...there must be something disconnected or maybe there is a separate pump with another fuse ?
I have tested them with lights on Auto, on Position On and on Full Beam On. Nothing happens.
I would like to add to my Xj the tv Module, DAB and the Homelink rearview mirror....i have seen some threads here, i understood that i need to check of i have some more cables or not preinstalled and the right modules.
Acc also and i have found the radar module and abs module i believe correct for my car, but first i need to fix the infamous sunroof blind that is not working.
Are there different types of homelink mirrors (eu or us specifics?) ?
