Default Supercharger and water pipes

Hello guys, I will be replacing my plastic pipes with the aluminum ones as soon a I get all the parts. Im also replacing the oil, the spring loaded coupler and the rear plastic tube.

Is this the right oil and solid coupler? Im also doing spark plugs since I will have more room.
what spark plugs should I go with?

Anything else? I will post pics of what I have soon.

Thank you guys.

Replace the spark plugs with the same as what is removed. Note the spark plugs are VIN-specific:

I have used NGK 93476 Iridium plugs in the AJ133 as replacements for the factory installed spark plugs.

The oil you posted is what I use as you can find the AC-Delco stuff all over. Now I would say your making a mistake because it says M112 blower. That coupler I don't think will fit the TVS blowers we have on the newer Jaguar's? So verify that before ordering the kit.

Plenty of solid couplers around for the TVS version too but be aware we have had some reports of people swapping these back to the factory spring cushioned coupler. Your car your decision. I have decided to stay with the factory spring setup. I currently have the SC snout clunk but as you know this is not something that needs to be fixed ASAP.

No it is not the same. The V6 coupler is slightly larger and will not fit the V8.

Well don't fear the SC snout noise. It's more of an annoyance than any kind of serious mechanical problem. Mine has had a clunk on shut down for at least 20K miles. Heck if this forum had not been talking about it I would have never even noticed?

The only way I can even hear it is to shut off the radio and open the drivers door before turning off the engine. Then I have the clunk on shutdown.
The only downside I have seen is if you let it go depending on what's broken inside the coupler you can wear the steel center shaft of the snout. Since I have a complete new snout in the box for when I get to that repair I really don't care what the old snout/coupler look like.

Plus this is one of those problems that just about 100% of the cars will experience at some point. This is easy to see as ANY car that uses the Eaton TVS blower (Cadillac CTS-V and others) will have forum posts about the noise and installing solid couplers. There are reasons to stay with the factory spring cushioned coupler and several people have pulled the solid coupler and went back to the factory setup. BUT there are other's with the solid coupler who have run it for years. So it's not a slam dunk either way. I only went with a factory replacement as I stumbled on a new one in the Jaguar box for less than half price of a new one from the dealer/Jaguar.

One thing I don't know is did Eaton ever get this fixed or updated on later model cars?

Beware of noise with solid couplers!

I stupidly replaced the OEM spring loaded coupler on my '07 XJR (while doing the valley hoses, etc) with a solid one, and have lived with a noisy idle ever since - about 20K miles now. It's gear noise - something the OEM spring coupler effectively dampens. Sounds like an AC compressor just about to seize up.

The 5.0L blowers may be less susceptible to this (vs the 4.2L), but I sure wouldn't try it myself.
