Default Took Delivery of my Jaguar XJL Portfolio

Traded in my 2011 Jaguar XJL for a new 2013 XJL Portfolio - 5.0 liter V8. Indigo Blue with Navy/London Tan interior.

Options
Wood steering wheel
20" Kasuga Polished Wheels

Add ons
Bright finish pedals
Mud flaps (on order)
Chrome mirror caps (on order)

Love the new 8-speed transmission. Beautiful car. Had my detail team spend 10 hours making the car dead on perfect and it really pops. My sixth Jag in the last 30 months. I think I have a problem.

I might have the answer to your problem - you can refill the fuel tank when it's empty.....

The XJL looks superb and in one of my favourite colour combinations.

All right, I'll say it: I'm officially envious of your XJL. My favorite interior color was the London Tan and I REALLY wanted the 8sp, as well. But, being the type of person who always had difficulty waiting for his new toy, I just had to get a gorgeous 2012 with the 6sp only about a month before the '13s became available. Plus, if I waited I probably would have ended up with a car that does not have the vibration issues that mine has. Oh, well....!

Congrats for the beauty, enjoy.

Congrats on a beautiful choice. I've had my Jag for close to 2 years and 30,000 miles, and I still love the look of the car, and that color combo. Since I spec'd mine I chose black with london tan since I'm not a fan of blue leather. Either way, gorgeous car.

Congratulations Scott! Beautiful machine.

It's your life and you are living it your way...

My wife's 2011 XJL is the same color combo. She loves her car. The Blue is really nice, and that tan color is perfect.

Living in the Vegas area, do you have a favorite place/area to drive all these Jags?

Thanks - we have two racing facilities and I live between them - about 45 min each in driving distance. I spend a lot of time at one of the tracks. I also drive around the canyons, down to Lake Meade etc.

UPDATE: The mud flaps and mirror caps along with new Union Jack Center Caps came in and are installed and while all small things, they make the car that much more enjoyable for me. The chrome mirror caps look really, really nice on the Indigo Blue Jag. I am not usually a chrome guy but this car looks very regal that way. And the mud flaps keep the road grime off the finish. The center caps just look cool.

Agree. I'm not considering myself a chrome guy either but, I must say that chrome has its applications, particularly over very dark exterior colors. I put some chrome lower trim on my wife's black XF and, no doubt, it added considerably to the overall looks. Very dark colors tend to absorb light and they can use some contrasting reflections to break up those large expenses of light absorbing dark colors.
