Has anyone discovered if there is a possibility of fitting a towbar on to the XJ X351? Can't seem to locate one and Jaguar themselves do not sell one for the vehicle. Thanks

 

I think you're gonna find that the aluminum chassis and a tow bar don't go together safely which is why there isn't any available. I would love to stick with a Jag but need a vehicle that can tow as my daily driver. Looks like the last towable Jag will be the current gen XF as it is steel then will be aluminum in the future. That will likely be our last Jaguar as a daily driver.

It looks like the X351 replacement will have a tow bar:

Jaguar say: “Do not fit non-approved parts and accessories or carry out non-approved alterations or conversions”, and there are no approved tow bars for the X351. So the official word is “don’t”.

 

Apparently, there’s a company in New Zealand that fits tow bars to XJs but it’s a bit far to drive there from the UK

I’d like a towbar installed and not to tow anything but to carry my bikes with me.

 

I did find a trailer hitch available on line a few years ago. Don't know if it's still available. See attached.
