Does anyone have any experience with trunk light not working but the bulb is good? I have not found anything that relates to just the trunk light only for fuses but I did find a 2 wire/connector close to the battery that is disconnected but no apparent home.

Any help is appreciated. 2012 XJL Supersport. See attached photo.

I have the same wire disconnected in my trunk/boot. The dealer told me that the wire is only used in pre-inspection. Would like to hear others opinions.

 

Yes that is correct. It's suppose to be tucked away during the PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) and you don't want it to ground out on anything. It's grounded during shipping for some reason? I think it's to prevent battery drain.
