Default Are Used Singapore Imported XJLs from 2013-2014 good to buy?

I live in New Zealand. Most of the imported XJs come from Singapore. The New Zealand new used cars generally are more expensive and are much lower spec. Base models most of the time since we don't get fancier trim models here. I'm wondering if it's anyone has had experience with more recent imports from Singapore. Like issues with electronics due to the heat and humidity. I'm specifically looking between a 2013 and 2014 model as that's when the UI has been upgraded to be faster and there's less issues with rusting on the sunroofs etc.

I live in NZ as well and found that a lot of people seem to avoid cars from Singapore for the reasons you mentioned. The Japanese sourced cars tend to be better but you then have the issue of getting the nav, etc, converted to NZ/European spec.
