2012 Jaguar XJD 3.0. Nlengine noise seems to follow engine speed noise is most prominent at low speed and low RPMs under load and goes away at higher speeds. Just got the DPF Full warning a few days ago though in not sure how that can be related. The note is very similar to the engine would naturally make under acceleration anyway so I'm having a hard time figuring out what it may be.
