Hi all and Happy New Year. My 95 xj12 has a problem. At about 2200 rpm the engines almost stalls out. OBD is showing P1367, Ignition Monitor ( Bank A) Ignition system failure Group 1.
It also showed a crankshaft position sensor problem, which I cleared and has not returned after a few minutes of running the engine and revving to the 2200 rpm where she stalls. At the point of stall she simply cuts back to about 1000 rpm and then will gradually re rev to 2200 rpm and then repeat.
I'm taxing my memory, but maybe someone can confirm, that the crankshaft position sensor is responsible for sending the ignition information to the computer, and that might be by problem ?
