Well, I am in the market for a car to drive for when I get back and Jaguars interest me . Especially the v12 ones!
I have been searching for a good XJ12 for a while and I thought it would be a good idea to ask on the enthusiasts’ forum.

Anyone have a good one for sale? Or know of a good example?
‘How much should I expect to pay? (There is one online for sale for $16,000.... it’s overpriced right?)

Make an offer on the $16k car. These things aren’t found on every street corner but neither are serious offers. Offer $10k, hold firm, make sure he has your phone number, and wait. It’ll be yours eventually.

If I had a choice - I would prefer to buy a car from the owner directly and try to avoid any car dealers at all costs.
But if I can't find any alternatives, I will definitely keep your advice in mind.

Hi Jin,
I am currently negotiating for an XKR. If successful, one of our current Jags has to go. I will hopefully know later this week. If lucky with XKR, our 1996 XJ12 LWB (Jade Green) will be going on the market. I do love the car, but I'm expecting to close on the XKR and 3 Jags are too much for us - we have 2003 XJR too. If you haven't already purchased, let me know and I'll get you details.
