my1996 xj12 shows low oil pressure at stop lights sometimes 130k do not know what kind of oil or filter yet i guess it could be loose clearances but it runs so good and i feel the car was taken care of most the time just trying to get more informed opinions thanks again

 

the oil pressure sender failure is a well known problem. if there aren't any other problems you should check it.

 

Jaguar addressed this issue almost 20 years ago.

You also might want to try a 'thicker' oil especially in the warmer months.
