Just sharing a small victory. I have a PDU and it’s been pretty useless as a diagnostic tool. But it does have a neat connector pin out lookup! The radiator fan temp sensor has a three wire plug. One wire was broken off so I cut off the pig tail and ordered a new one. Then I lost the old one and no longer knew which wire went where in the connector. With the PDU I was able to look this up!
To know the cooling fans circuit works minus the 86 and 100 C temp switch :
put a paper clip between a White wire to the Black wire ground / low mode fans
remove paper clip and the other White / Blue wire to Black ground / high fans mode
Low current section of the fans circuit so no arcing hazard
With the TSB mod done you will always have low fans mode with key on ( protects from both fans coming on to high mode from zero blowing the fuse related to A / C freon load / pressure and you have no engine cooling )
