I need to replace the security and locking module (LNG2600HB012) on my 2001 XJ8 3.2. I've contacted the usual suppliers and dealers and am told it's not available anymore.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might find one?

I live in Thailand but will be in Australia (Queensland) next week and the UK in early August...

But, nevertheless, the most plentiful would be in the UK. Try breakers there,
or ebay.co.uk

There are driver chips that melt and are replaceable. The details were
posted a few years ago.
