How much transmission fluid after draining? Manual says 7.5ltr but seems to overfill. Assuming I’m checking correctly (get trans warm, cycle gears, select park, check level with engine running)Seems like 6ltr is plenty. How much are you guys adding to refill?

 

My experience is 5 litres or less draining from the trans pan plug. Good practice is to measure how much came out and add back the same. Also note that the difference between Add and Full on the dipstick (hot range) is only about 12 oz (about 1/3 litre).

5 litres is less than half the fluid capacity overall, and why we do multiple change outs (usually 3), with a drive in between, to refresh most of the fluid.
