Default 05 vdp lock actuator wiring?

Hi i think i need an expert, passenger rear door does not lock so i took the actuator out and tryied it on rear driver side and it seems to be working, then i tryed the rear driver on the pass. Side and nothing! I think that tells me its a prob with the wiring. I looked at the plug ins they look good,
Where would i check next? Is there a dedicated harness? I also checked the rear .rem. Wires and plug look fine and all other functions that the rem. Is invoved with works.

I have successfully repaired a door lock so may be able to help.
When you tried the actuator on the rear driver's side, how did you screw the lock on the door because it is the wrong side, and did you insert the 3 pin triangular plug?
What I am thinking is that the system needs to know that the door is shut before it will lock and the 3 pin triangular plug is the wiring to the door ajar switch.
Therefore this plug needs to be inserted every time you test the actuator and the actuator itself needs to be in position in the door. Perhaps you will tell me differently?

I did not bolt the actuator in the rear driver door but i did plug in both plugs i think its a 2 wire and another 2 wire . And it seemed to be working ! And when i tryed the good one on the rear pass. I got nothing? But i think the rem does not control the rear pass door . Ill have to look into that.

Yes you are correct door ajar switches are 2 wires but 3 pin triangular plug and socket and one pin not used.

Both rear door ajar switches and rear door actuators are controlled from the rem.

When you tried the good one on the rear passenger door and got nothing, were all the doors shut and the door ajar light on the dash off?

For this to be the case you would need the bad one in position in the other door.

I didnt check the dash and the
rear doors were open , my logic was to see if the actuator was locking and unlocking witch it did on the good side.!
