1998 XJ8 another no start
First thank all of you for teaching me how to maintain my 1998 XJ8. Ok, here it is. I'm getting only a trickle to the fuel rail . I've changed the fuel pump , went through the whole cylinder wash procedure but I know your gonna tell me I need to change the fuel filter. I'm working on a low budget and I have to change it from my back using a jack. I can't for the life of me figure a way to get those filter bolts off with the near impossible space given. Even with the tire off the exhaust is to close. I've been ripping my hair out in hopes of bringing my Cat back to life. I don't have an OBD2 reader yet but I realize that's a must have and I will get one soon. Thanks in advance for any advice.

You'd be looking for the X308 forum, over yonder, for the 1998 cars. This here is the forum for 2004-2009. All different stuff!
Unfortunately, with Jaguar calling cars with a six-cylinder engine "XJ6" from 1968 to 2009, covering 7 models, there is no "general forum" for XJs.
