Default 2005 Brake Rotor Size

Good Morning -

This should be a simple issue - but finding the correct size of the rotors on my 2005 Super V8 w a VIN of G39562 (before change to larger size according to Barratt) has been difficult.

Ebay listings as we know are unreliable and all over the map - However if I read it right the SNG Barratt Catalog says my rotors are 326mm front and back.

But when talking with customer service at Brakenetic, they assure me that the size they have sent over the years for my car are - fronts 356mm and rears 330mm - neither number I've seen before.

Yes I could go measure but not sure I could do accurately.

Anyway - someone must have an answer to this straightforward question?

Thanks
Mike D.

356mm is big - almost as big as the ones for my STR, 365mm - so do you have Brembo brake calipers? I believe only those would use such big ones.

My rears are also 330mm (solid - the fronts are vented), again for Brembo calipers.

For a SuperV8 with that range of VIN, the front brake discs have JLR part number C2C8355.

Available from SNG Barratt, a forum sponsor:

Here is an example listing on eBay:

Oddly that ebay item says 365mm - bigger than the 356mm mentioned by the OP (but like my STR).

My 2004 Super V8 has Brembo brakes, the front discs are 365mm and part number ( as mentioned above is ) C2C8355.
According to my notes that I keep these are the discs for the earlier cars up to Vin G49700.

To All who replied -

356mm is just a digit transposition - meant to type 365mm - and my calipers are Brembo.

So it seems that the fronts I'm looking for are 365mm and rear 330mm.

Thanks for the clarification.

Part of my confusion stems from the fact there is no size mentioned for my car in the printed Barratt catalog I have.
For instance pg. 34 of catalog has Front Brake Discs & Calipers

1. Front Brake Disc Kit to VIN G49700
Non-SC 320mm disc - C2C 8354

Front Disc Kit from VIN G49701
Non SC 326mm disc - C2C25336

Front Brake Disc Kit to VIN G49700
4.2 Supercharged - - C2C8355 (no Size stated)

Front Brake Disc Kit from VIN 49701
SC 355mm - C2C25337

So the size for my car is never stated and the sizes stated for the other cars is different than what responses have stated here.

So while I have an answer, use of the catalog is confusing to me.

2. Caliper etc (are then described) and so on

Thanks for the help
Mike D
