2007 headlights
Hi Ole,
this thread should help you, it was mostly about headlights:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...damage-274608/
Off course, it will only help you determine what headlights your car has now, but I would assume that they would also be the ones the car was born with.
I do not know whether you have a dealer that could print out a spec sheet for you based on the VIN, but another possibility of establishing what type of headlights the factory fitted to your car would be to consult the Jaguar brochures for the MY, as the lists of the spec also include the type of headlights for each variant.
Best regards,
Thomas

VIN decoder to 2009
But....The VIN is not going to specify the headlight type. There are really only two types of headlights in the X350, the all-halogen, and the one with HID low beams. If you can see a projector circle in your outer lights, then you have HID. Use a D1S HID bulb. If you can't see a projector circle, then you have the all-halogen lights. I think high and low beams use H7. If you look very carefully, the bulb type is moulded / molded into the plastic of the light lens near the bottom.
The pic of my car below shows the HID lights.

Hmm, that didn't like my VIN, had no information. I tend to use this one...

Pete,
I tried my VIN too and it failed to provide any search result.
I wonder if our AP cars were somehow excluded from the data set?
