I need some help from a current or ex Jag technician?

A few years ago I managed to enable the audible double chirp tone on unlocking n my 2004MY X350 with eithe JKR SDD v130/131 or v134, can’t remember what version I had at the time, now I want to disable this again, as I’ve got fed up with it. Motorcarman (thanks Bob) has tried to help me and directed me to where I should find this setting in IDS (my car is too old for SDD), but the section he say it should be in, is not there in my software, it should be in ‘dealer options/setup & configuration/security’ within the car/wrench tab at the top, but I can only find the part that disables the single chirp on double locking. I have the following versions of the software

v125 on xp vm
V130/131/138 on their own vm’s
v149 on an xp machine
v159 & v160 on win7 vm’s.

v159/160 say they are switching over to legacy mode, but I doubt they switch over properly, I don’t want to pay my local Indy to do this, when I have the software myself.

Any and all hell will be great fully appreciated.

legacy IDS mode is a half baked piece of junk. if you have a VID block car you need real IDS

i think 130 will allow you to enter SDD on really early cars

 

Easier to live with double chirp.

 

I have v130 on a virtual machine, but not sure if that’s working properly, can’t find the actual files anywhere now.

I lived with it for 8 years now. 🤣
