I have a half leather half wood steering wheel on my '04 XJ6 with ivory interior. The wood is in a very good condition, but the leather is quite bad, as probably one of the previous owners used to drive with a lot of rings on their hands. Otherwise, I can't explain all the whole, scratches, and color differences the leather has.
Are there any kits already existing for cutting and restitching the leather part? Do we know at least which color should I look for, if I'll try finding a leather that matches?

How do I know exactly if my car has ivory or sand interior?
The second and last line on the matrix looks pretty similar to me...sorry, I’m a man, the colors don’t make much sense to me, I can never see a difference between ivory, sand, cream...they all look the same to me between different manufacturers 🙂

 

I did not state that I knew how to interpret..........You might need to ask an actual Jaguar parts guy, they do this all day.
