I just spent 2 weeks waiting for Flint colorLamswool mats from dealerfit.com and when they finally arrived, they were not the Lambswool with the jaguar emblem but the stock plain black jaguar mats.
They were charging $419 whichI know is alot but its $300 under what the dealer charges for the same thing. I've looked online and cant find anyone who sells them. Anyone know of a place to get a new set?
Thanks,
Jim

If you don't care about the Jag logo, these are sumptuous:

I ordered them for my Rolls and they are better then the OEMs.

Retail Price was $719. I got them for $503.

Ouch, thats alot of coin to be putting your dirty shoes on. I do bet they look nice though.
New rule at Jims house, you have to take your shoes off entering both his house AND his car.

Hi
I recently bought a used 04 Vanden Plas
It's in fantastic shape, what a dream ride...
It came with the Lambswool mats
I didn't notice it at the time, but the backing on the mats is disintegrating!
I'm shocked that a $700 pair of floormats would do this.
I have it at the dealer right now for its "going out of warranty soon" inspection.
I forgot to tell themabout the mats, but later remembered and called to ask about them.
The service manager said the they don't cover the mats under warranty because the are commonly getting snagged and pulled apart due to "mis-installation". I asked him to take a look at mine as the upper part is fine, it's just the backing that is comming off.
I'm not holding my breath, but I will update when I hear the decision

dealership doesnt usually cover wear items especially floor mats
most of the time disentegrated backing is a sign that the floor mats have been washed

I imagine that they were washed... I still think that is no reason for them to melt before your eyes
I guess I caught the dealer in a soft mood, they are replacing them under warranty - Won't be washing them!!

Good deal Randu,
I have the same issue with my back ones, but no such luck. I live in Seattle so I ordered the "All season" ruber ones - good for lots and lots of rain.
With the lambswool mats I had the urge to take my shoes off when I enter the car and vacum the floors when I park in the garage.

I would push them hard about it. My dealer did it without hesitation.
I just got a new full set of mats form my 05 VDP thru warranty because the rubber backing on the driver's mat was crumbling up. The new ones do not have the same type of rubber backing. Looks like Jaguar knows there is a problem with the old style.
