Default Arden?

Just curious, anyone here ever bought anything from Arden?

They have some really cool upgrades but the prices are unreal!

$19,000 for a brake kit
$7,000 for an alcantara head liner
$59,000 for 120 hp increase (granted they do a lot such as increasing displacement, shafts, etc) - I could buy a whole Jag for that!

If you have to ask, you can't afford it. My guess is these "upgrades" are aimed at those buying brand new Jags.

I am sure that many are sold that way, but I guess my point did not come through very clearly.

1. I would like to know if anyone has bought their products

2. It is not a matter of whether it is affordable or not, it just seems a bit far fetched to pay that kind of money for those items. Probably even the nicest custom shops here in the states would never charge $7K for a headliner.

After paying $95K+ for a Super V8, I have done a few upgrades here and there...Auriga wheels, Alcantara fabric, 2008 grille, chrome plating, Audio Connectivity Module, etc. But beyond that is just a waste, in my humble opinion. It is still a Jag. As much as I love Jags, I'd take my $200K and by a Bentley GT. Just sayin'

I am not much for most aftermarket stuff on my cars. If I wanted better wheels, I should've bought a car that had them to start with. I like sleepers if they have anything done; do it where it counts!

Jaguar does it right with styling. I can see some of the interior changes like a headliner. The Jag's plain econo headliner is a bit drab. How much does that cost? A plaid or tweed could be interesting.

I paid under $500 to change all of the dove fabric to charcoal Alcantara (headliner, pillars, visors).

You guys think the headliner in the Jag is econobox? You should check out the one in my Insight!

There is another thread for this. Haven't posted pics yet because I have been waiting on the chrome parts to install which should be any day now since the past couple of weeks.

That's my middle name and my recently deceased dad's 1st name. I wonder if I'd get a discount?

I have purchased many items from Arden, they are expensive but the quality is top notch. I have the hardtop, complete exhaust system including catalysts, the front & rear bumper covers as well as side sills, coil springs, their 20" Sportline wheels, shift knob & surround, pedals & probally a few other things I can't remember.
