Default ASM Connector - Terminal Removal?

Dear Forum,

Please, does anyone know how to remove the terminals from the ASM Connector? They are (sort of) spring loaded females and are held firm(ish) by the removable green insert?

Do they have just one locking tang or two? Is it (are they) either side of, or above and below the terminals, please?

Thanks Motorcarman, I have bought one of those sets; however, what I need to know is where to stick it?

If it was me I'd remove the green cap and use the kit motorcarman referenced. Eyeball the closest key that fits in the two slots for each wire.

Insert the tool and pull the connector out when the key bottoms out.

Thanks Abonano.
I have tried that. I will try again. There are slots North, South, East and West of the wires and I have tried both North/South and East/West with the double-pronged tool? Perhaps there is only one lug and it needs a longer tool? Just hope I can find the answer before I damage something!

Okay Motorcarman & Abonano, thank you....I used the double-prong tool, but you have to force the terminal all the way out the back of the connector with the tool; it will not budge by simply inserting the tool and pulling the wire.

Pick a double prong tool that is the same diameter as the metal terminal your trying to release.

Insert the tool until seated in the terminal. Then push the wire holding the terminal in a bit then pull out the back of the plug.
