Default Ball joints dust covers

Hello everybody!
I am getting acquainted with my retirement project, hopefully I can bring it up in shape in time.
My car is 2004 XJ8 VDP with only 45kmi, when I got it in September. So far so good 2k more added: nothing major, spark plugs and coil packs; rebuild air compressor with bagpipingandy's kit. Thanks, Andy!
Now I am planning to do some work on suspension; the ball joint boots on front top arms are shredded. Tie rod ball joints also can use new boots. All ball joint are tight. I just want to extend their life to get them to the point when I will have to replace airsprings/struts. that would be a good time to replace top arms with ball joints repack bushings and whatever else comes along.
Does anybody have an information what size ball joint boots used on X350?
May be somebody already put together dimensions for various ball joints?
Thanks in advance,
Mark

We have similar situations, bought a 2006 two months ago with 41k and while my joints are tight the boots are all torn. Hopefully somebody has done this and will reply with the sizes. I've seen them for sale but had no clue on the proper sizes.

I used some polyurethane ones I had leftover from my BMW, on the rear, they are working well, I don't think it is super critical to have the exact size. they compress quite a bit anyhow. These

See this thread referenced in the X150 DIY suspension section. Has lots of hints that may make the job easier for you. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...5/#post2241347
I bought my replacement boots on EBay from a seller in Bulgaria I think. Took a few weeks to arrive in the US but cheap and good product.

Following. I did a similar repair but I know it is temporary… I used off the shelf parts from local parts store- better than nothing until I find the right grease covers.

They act much faster when you order a dozen or more.
Than when i ordered just two, to see if they fit/
