Bluetooth compatability
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me what components I need to make my 04 XJR bluetooth compatible? It has nav, rear entertainment etc but no phone. Any factual input would be greatly appreciated.

You will need 3 components to achieve bluetooth.

Check out the ebay for a sample description of what is needed. Do a forum search for btum.
Consists of Phone Module(PSE), Bluetooth Upgrade Module(BTUM), Overhead Console Microphone(Mic).
Thanks
Mag

"Updated OEM Bluetooth Upgrade"
Do a search on the above. I used the information in that link to install the upgraded Bluetooth module so that I did not need the BTUM. It may be difficult to find this particular module. 7W931OD893AB was the part number. I added in the extra DB2 fiber that was needed as I added in VCAM at the same time.

321642192426 Have a look at this item number on Ebay. This is the module I used on my 2005 XJR and it worked "plug and play".
The only issue I had was connecting the coax cable for the aerial in the trunk as I did not have the European connector so I had to adapt it in a rough way but it worked.

Ok, I purchased the items on ebay. I just need to locate the D2B cable and I'll let you know how I make out. I didn't need the microphone as my car already had voice activation, so if anyone needs a mic, let me know.
Thanks,
