How do I remove the cover to my air intake. I release the two upper tabs but I cant seem to get it off. Do I need to remove the hose going from the air filter box to the engine?

 

Disconnect the MAF harness, loosen the hose at the throttle body, then lift the cover and everything will come away together. Not doing this puts stress on the plastic fittings, and could break some.

 

I struggled with this too. Easier to get it off than back on!

Losen the clamps and remove the rubber hose between the filter box and the intake manifold first, then the filter box cover will come off (and go back on). Seems like a pain to do that at first, but after you struggle with it for a while, you will see that this is the best option.
