Default Car Cover

Can anybody recommend a custom fit car cover? I need to store my XJR outside this winter. I will not be driving it, will hook up a battery tender etc.
We can get rather harsh cold winters here. I prefer something with a draw string elastic lower to keep it tight to the car, minimizes rubbing on the paint when the wind howls during a blizzard. Thanks.

I've never had good results from a cover, as they retain moisture and the cover flapping can damage the paint, no matter how secure it is. There is also the condensation being in contact with the paint film over extended periods that can cause paint lifting and all manner of things. Better to just leave it exposed, I think, but well protected against frost. Of course you could blank-off the radiator grill and other entry points for snow and ice. However as an Englishman in Cheshire, I am not up-to-speed on harsh US or Canadian winters. You certainly don't want lumps of ice pounding it, as it will dent the aluminium roof, trunk lid and hood.

Thanks Fraser, most of the covers I've looked at 'breath ' etc. and I've used one on another car I store outside for the winter with good results but it is a factory one (BMW) and I don't know the manufacturer. I know the wind flapping can fog the paint on raised edges but I found I can easily polish it out in the spring. I find that a custom form fitting cover with a elasticised draw string bottom minimizes the whipping on the body panels. Too many cars not enough indoor space, beloved wife needs to park inside for the winter.

I bought one of these
Amazon.com: Coverking All Weather Breathable Custom Vehicle Cover for Jaguar XJ Sedan - Silverguard Fabric, Silver: Automotive Amazon.com: Coverking All Weather Breathable Custom Vehicle Cover for Jaguar XJ Sedan - Silverguard Fabric, Silver: Automotive
for my XJR6

My XJR6 lives under a carport though living on the Gold Coast in Australia it never snows or even gets cold we do get cyclones and tropical weather fronts

I just pulled the cover of after 3 months and it was still dusty underneath the cover though
