My 04 VDP has very slow acceleration when I floor it check engine light flashing also reduce power mode comes on. Also I get a burnt smell from the car at times never had this issue i have replaced the fuel pump and i keep up with the oil changes and everything been having this issue. I was thinking it could be ignition coils and spark plugs but the car turns onn and runs.

 

Have ECM scaned for codes, post them here.

 

Flashing MIL = misfires so terrible they're doing catalyst damage.

Don't keep driving it! Fix urgently.
