Hi

I have a strange problem on my 05 super v8. If I set the climate control to full auto it will speed up the fan to 100% and never regulate it down, its like its never reaching its temperature.
Its winter here so im thinking that maybe it struggle to get warm, but even with 20c on the setting it will never reduce the fan speed. It blows warm from all vents except the ones in the dash. If i go to climate setting and choose the dash vents it will blow warm from them but never with the vent settings on auto.

Have anyone experienced this and have any suggestions on were to start?

 

Never set or leave the climate control on auto myself.
Believe that the auto setting, always leaves the air vents open.
Could the auto cycle be set up, to quickly, & constantly, exchange & filter the air ?

 

Does the heating work on manual ie the heat varies with the set temperature?

If so the temp. sensor will be working.

Possible fault in blower control module.

Yes, the heating seems to be working depending on temperature settings.
The fan is adjusting according to manual setting as well
