does anyone know if I can just reposition the coolant header tank and move it aside to change the fan assembly? My fan motor is seized, and I was hoping to not have to open and drain the system to change the fan. Any advise on changing this assembly would be a big help. Thanks, Brandon

Brandon,
Sorry that apparently none of us knew the answer to your question. Have you had any success?

Success, only in that just today I found out that my waterpump is leaking, so I guess a large scale tear apart is on the horizon.... So far, I've logged almost 1800 miles on this car since I bought it😟 reliability is not a term I use with this car yet😢

That's a serious bummer, Brandon, but think of the excellent phototutorial you'll be able to post to help the rest of us when it's our turn!

I got a quote today from a local shop here in The East Bay Area to do the waterpump job using a new pump with metal vanes... He quoted $400.00 complete, so I'll deliver the car to him and let him enjoy the fun.. I'll give it one more chance to be a fun, enjoyable car before passing it on 😄
