Corroded rear underseat connector 2007 XJ8
Sometime ago I posted about a leaking sunroof and "air suspension fault" well I finally got round to doing some more checking (car was off the road for the winter) on the air suspension issue. Although water was leaking from the sunroof on rear driver side I found a corroded connector underneath the passenger side rear seat. There are two connectors, underneath the rubber backing underneath the seat;one is gray and rather square, the other is a creamy white with red sides. The grey one shows no signs of corrosion. However the other one shows quite a bit of greenish residue. Does anyone know what signals this connector carries? I tried cleaning the connector with isopropyl alcohol, but this had no effect on the air suspension issue. Any thoughts welcome?
BTW car drives fine and looks level, but not low.

Sounds like your air compressor is on the way out. If car is level and correct height, but you get this warning, it normally means the compressor is taking too long to charge the reservoir, due to piston seal wear.
