Default Dash noises

I have a 2005 XJ8L with all the normal problems. I live in South Florida and have issues With the front air shocks when it gets cool. Well under 60 is cool for me. I have not replaced anything yet. Also had a "safe mode" issue a few years ago but nothing since.
My issue/ question is simple. Is it normal to have sounds coming from behind the dash (behind the a/c, radio area. It happens while the car is running and for a time after the car shuts off.

Mine is quiet behind the dash & console. Your clock must be the culprit!
