does anyone no where the bluetooth module is, ive found a wrecked xj8l in the junk yard just wanted to no the location of the module is or diagram

 

What BlueTooth module? What model year?

 

The X308 does not have a 'blue-tooth' module.
(at least not the North American models)

I guess this should be in the X350 section....so i'll move it.

The phone module is in the boot, on the left side, behind the carpet.

The bluetooth reciever is located in the centre console, if you remove the air vents from the back of the console (while sitting in the back seat) you will see the black & red connector, this goes to the bluetooth reciever which will be stuck on the inside of the centre console with double sided tape.

 

The 04 X-Type was hard wired and dedicated (add a phone line) phone in the center counsel. Upgrade by dealer was $1,200 parts and $1,200 labor. A $2,500 add on for a $35,000 car. This does not include Jaguar voice. Jaguar blue tooth is no bowl of cherries (06). Jaguar blue tooth does not like phones that are 5 years younger than it is.

Which Model Year XJ8 have you found and are you hoping to fit Bluetooth equipment from this into the X-Type?
