door mirror for x350 is same as S type?

Default door mirror for x350 is same as S type?
Hi All
Need to buy a door mirror for my 2004 xj8 and was wondering if its the same as s type as they seem to be more available and the cover seems to be the same
Thanks for any info!

The mirrors are different. I spent ages checking and found no info on any of the forums. eventually I looked as an s type and they are different.

yes I can now see that they are slightly different where the bolts attach to the door, but the cover and glass seems to be the same *which is all I need

the x-type shares the motor and cover as well.

you can use the glass in a pinch
