Default Front brake rattle question

2005 vdp, experiencing a front brake rattle that disappears when slight brake pedal is applied.
Just changed both front calipers and pads with still same problem. Checking the vin # it's an earlier Chassis # G49700
therefore uses and double cylinder caliper could using the incorrect pads cause this problem? Used the ones supplied.
Thanks for any suggestions...

It could be the tires (bad tires or needs rebalance). Swap the tires & see what happens.

Thanks for that, 4 New Michelin Pilots less than four months old, balanced perfectly.
Disappears when very slight brake pedal is applied indicates to me that it's something in the brake area.
In the op. mentioned that when ordering brake parts for the front end the chassis number seems important, if the incorrect pads were installed could this cause this problem?

OK, so new tires & balanced perfectly...On your earlier post you stated the front brakes rattle and then you installed new pads & it still rattles, You are right when you said "Disappears when very slight brake pedal is applied indicates to me that it's something in the brake area." Option #2) I would inspect the brake caliper, Option #3) a possibility that there is air in brake system..

OP: Just changed both front calipers and pads with still same problem.
OP: Ordering front pads from Rock Auto which is the easiest to show this; it is asked if vehicle is pre or post Chassis # G49700
Question: would receiving the incorrect pads cause this problem.

The anti-rattle clips are different between the two chassis. If you did not replace the anti-rattle clip you should do so. They lose their tightness over time and loosen causing the noise.

My mechanic has been in hospital and finally got yo speak to him yesterday and it seems he may have use the incorrect pads without the anti-rattle clips. I have ordered an new set with clips and will report back.
Thanks all for your input.

Seems like the anti rattle clips were not installed. Does any one have a link or a picture of these clips they could post?
Has anyone ordered calipers and pads from rock auto if so what type did they purchase? Mine is the double piston style.
Thanks for any info...
