My car is currently off the road at the moment due to on going running issues.Car is parked on drive.Came home the other day and could see something hanging below the car.As i thought one of the fuel tank straps had rusted through and gave up.Lucky I suppose I was not driving it at the time. Looked up some old posts on how to do the job looks simple enough and cheap.Forget the cheap bit the straps will now cost you 107 English pounds for 2 poxy mild steel straps.Straps have now been treated with galvanised paint ready to fit tomorrow.Does anyone know the torque setting for the retaining bolts.
