Default Getting a C2302 Code

Recently I had the Front air struts replaced in my 2006 XJ8L after the drivers side dropped and the TOO low red light warning message came on.. Up until that time I never had any issues with the suspension. The same day I picked it up, after i had the new front struts installed, after driving a short distance, I noticed the yellow Air suspension fault message.. (That causes a C2302 code to come up) I then decided to have the rear air struts replaced as well. Even after they were replaced, this message still comes on.. The wiring has been checked, the level sensors have been checked, there are NO air leaks, and the compressor has also been replaced. I still get the code and the yellow light air suspension fault message.. Does anyone have any ideas what I should have the Mechanic look for next?? We are both at a stand still as to what the problem could be. An additional thing I noticed, the front air struts sit higher than they did with the old air struts, but NOT higher than the rear of the car itself, the car sits level. I would be grateful for any help or ideas you would be able to offer me.. Thank you ..

Well it sounds like you had a front strut leak and you replaced both front struts

and only after that you had the yellow light come up which you scanned and had the C2302 code.

I suggest that you have a look at the level sensors on the front again.

actually disconnect the sensor and feel how the arm moves.

Does the arm move freely and smoothly?

also has the bracket been damaged or bent when changing struts?

Double check the wiring to the sensor while it is accessible.

BTW can you hear or feel the compressor running?

Was the replacement compressor new?

A new piston ring in your air compressor may solve your issue

The air compressor is new.. I was told the sensors and wiring have been checked. Is is possible it will just take time to find its correct level??

After all that expenditure, I'll bet you are feeling pretty annoyed ! Well, you have essentially a new suspension system, so what possibly is wrong ? I would look to the height detectors and first action is to calibrate the ride height again. C2302 is "reservoir plausibility error" probably the most opaque fault description I have ever read, but whilst it mostly applies when the compressor is worn, it also comes up when there is a leak preventing the compressor from charging the reservoir within the defined time interval . Have you tried just clearing the codes and starting from scratch ?
Part of my reason for buying the XE was to exit the air suspension of my previous car, a 2007 XJ6 Sovereign. At least with steel coil springs a cure is easy - the spring breaks, you fit another one. End of problem !!

I was there when I mechanic checked the car again, (After her fixed the rea air leak.) and he showed me that when we bounced the car, you could see the levelers were working, and there are no other air leaks. We could see the compressor come on so it's working.. I did notice, that the the front end is sitting higher than it used to (before the New struts were installed) and I have the gut feeling that is the problem, It (front of car) is sitting too high and the computer is NOT happy.. there does not seem to be away to adjust the front Height sensors.. So how do I calibrate the front Height of the car?

You need the lap-top program ! Most Jaguar specialists should have it, as also the main dealers.

Was this resolved? I think I am having similar issue with mine. would be helpful if you could share your resolution. I did the height calibration twice already with no luck.
