Backup Copy of Nav DVD
Ok what am I doing wrong?
Some time ago a member of this forum successfully copied his NAV DVD.
He used Free DVD ISO Maker to initially copy the OEM DVD and then CDBurnerXP to burn the copy on a VERBATIM 8X Blank DVD+R DL Dual Double Layer 8.5GB disk.
I tried that with no success.

Tried that already with no luck.
Problem with Imgburn is I get a Norton warning that it is a dangerous site.
So have tried several other programs all with no luck.

After you guys get it figured out, i would gladly pay for an extra disk for mine.
The 09's is the latest updated one available, as i understand things, mine is an 07.
Sure that a few of us, would like an extra disk, & a later issued one would be even better.

I seldom use mine, but when in an unknown area can be very useful.
Tell the navigation to go home, then drive down a road not there in 07.
Keeps telling you to turn around, till you come to an intersection.
It will then readjust to direct you to home.
Amusing when your on no road on the screen.
I would want two if they were 2011-20012 updates when you make them.

I can indeed, but the only disc I have is UK/Europe 2013. If I had any other disc I could copy that too.
Certainly in the UK there are various eBay sellers offering them for £20 or so, they're almost all copies at this point in time of course.
As a side note I think it might be time for forums to stop being so militant about people discussing copying these discs now they are a decade out of date and there is no "legitimate" avenue to acquire them.

Yes bought an update for my X351 that I had problems with (related to the car, not the update) that they refunded without issue. Used them for a 2nd X351 and it worked fine.
Think I might have bought a couple of discs off them over the years.
I've not got a NZ disc, sorry.

Thats great news, as i purchased one for my 07 VDP.
Ordered a 2012 North American updated disk for 31 BPS, about $40 US.
People are asking this much & more, for older, used ones.
Will keep my eyes open for anything newer that will work.
But from what i read, this is as good as it gets,
With a five year update
