Hazard Lights Inoperable

Hazard Lights Inoperable
Hello-
Hazard Lights Inoperable
Consulted the manual to verify operations - a push should begin Hazard Lights (Four-way Flashers) blinking and a second push to terminate blinking.
When pushed, lights do not blink, though all turn signals and bulbs perform as expected when using the stalk on steering column.
Consulted the manual to check for a fuse assigned to this function - did not see Hazard lights listed.
Has anyone encountered this behavior and/or resolved issue?
Thanks-

Search here for instructions on how to remove the nav unit. The switch unit is attached to the nav unit with two screws. Once you have the nav forward enough to get to the screws it is pretty simple. The instructions on removing the nav are pretty straight forward and they are posted in this area.

Mattrains and 45wheelgun -
Nice call on the replacing the switch unit. Bought one on ebay as suggested.
Put it in this afternoon in about 90 minutes.
(Had some additional fiddling to do as a result of the ACM cables in the console, but otherwise straightforward.)
I was glad to see both the original unit and the replacement unit both had a "B5" sticker. The car's sticker also had the notation 52/04 and the ebay unit was tagged 11/03. I am guessing this indicates manufacture date week/year of the component.
Thanks-
